GQ Pictures of the Groom
The Groom knows he isn’t the star of the show, but he typically gets his due with a series of photos anyway (as he should). The trend though seems to “up the annie” by going more “GQ-style” with the photos. I love it. Now he has a whole line up of photos that look right out of a magazine – a GQ magazine.
Florals Growing From the Ground Up
To piggy-back our brides’ love of all things floral, there are even more requests for florals that aren’t in any sort of vessel, but created to look as though they are growing out of the ground like this photo.
Smaller Wedding cake To Cut
Having a smaller cake does not mean that you aren’t sharing your dessert. It means that you have 1. an easier cake to cut, 2. likely you have cupcakes or other desserts easier to share, 3. you have avoided the high expense of a 3-tiered cake to make and transport in lieu of spending it on the other desserts, or 4. you want to cut the cake and take the left-overs on your honeymoon to nibble on. Whatever the reason, it makes lots of sense.
Up-Close and Personal Photo Op With Our Animals
Always popular is bride and groom photos with our animals. What takes some extra time and several extra hands to facilitate, our couples love these precious photos with either our goats and sometimes our horses. Makes for a one-of-a-kind experience and a standout photo that your friends won’t have on their wedding day!
Pocket Boutonnieres
Pocket bouts are wonderful. They do not damage the coat lapels. They do not lean left, right, or forward. They are not a pain in the rear to secure. These pocket bouts stay secure and even give a bit more room to become a statement piece.
***Soon, I will post a few upcoming trends that I “hope” I will see this year.
