Jennifer and Michael – by NB Photography

Nathan Baerreis at NB Photography was a new photographer to the farm.  His creative eye was evident in that he not only had a fresh approach to the wedding of Jennifer and Michael – but there were several angles and poses that were totally unique to him which is difficult to do but wonderful to see.  As for Jennifer and Michael – we knew right off that their wedding was something special.   Jennifer was smiling and laughing so much of the day and Michael was double checking each detail to make sure it was perfect – perfect for his Jennifer.  They day was indeed gorgeous and the pictures tell the story.

The choice of deep yellow sunflowers made the barn flutter with color.  Touches of yellow in balloons and in her table vessels pulled it all together. She had cupcakes galore laid out in a rustic display – tempting her guests.  It was a fun reception with El Mason catering the event – friends of Michael and Jennifer’s.  Chips and salsa for appetizers anyone?  Who doesn’t love Mexican food.  It was a laid back event for all of their guests.

Earlier in the day….the dress made a few poses.  The farmhouse was a flurry with Jennifer and her girls.  Even a couple of “escapee goats” came up to see what all of the fuss was?  It is a farm wedding venue – so Jennifer thought nothing of the lose goats.

What a silhouette this girl makes – huh?

Michael and his guys seemed so cool and in-charge.

It is always the little details that seem to stand out to me.  Here and there – if you look hard enough, you will see them.  Little things that reflect the ideas and taste of the bride and groom.

And finally – Jennifer was so excited about her baby goat picture.  First photo shows her excitement – second showed her bravery to “get the perfect shot.”

I think Jennifer would make a great farm hand – underneath all of the beauty and lace is a real animal lover!  Thank you Jennifer and Michael for sharing your day with us and making some fun memories.  Thank you NB Photography for being generous with your photos.                      ~ Margie
