Alexis and Austin – by Brian Dean Photography

This is Alexis and Austin on rehearsal day.

An overcast (but dry) rehearsal day means the photographer, Brian Dean, sees all sorts of possibilities and snaps away……Don’t you just love the fog rolling in?  Priceless!

Alexis had enjoyed our 2-day package so she was nice and relaxed knowing that she was unloaded, unpacked, and ready to enjoy a couple of days at the farm.

With girls prepping in the farmhouse – the photographer grabs his photos to go on a scavenger hunt for all of those detail shots…..and details did he find.

I am often struck by the artistry from our photographers as they capture what would appear to be a simple bouquet shot – but somehow…..with the pairing up of the beautiful bouquet sitting on the vintage farmhouse sink drainboard turns this into art.

Though the day started out with a touch more of fog……

It did not seem to deter the goats and horses……………or to deter from making some beautiful bridal gown photos either.

But as beautiful as this dress was as it hung on the old farmhouse front porch (don’t you just love that distressed beadboard ceiling?)……it was doubly stunning on Miss Alexis.

Can you just imagine how it feels to plan this day, buy this dress, spend the morning prepping, then to look in the mirror and behold – a princess bride staring back at you.

Mom seems to agree.

With the skies cloudy but clearing, this is a photographers dream come true….something about the overcast skies can just make magic in those lenses.

The inside of the barn was prepped and ready.

Our sweet “Bear” had offered to help – but he had no takers.

The guys who were at the Mimi Guest House were almost ready – and Youtube came to the rescue!

That really is one of the funnier pictures! With lessons learned, final touches were being made.

The tapestry of colors in the background of these photos are stunning especially coupled with these beautiful girls with their burgundy dresses and vivid bouquets.

Wedding in the grove – any time of year, the grove just has a romantic and intimate feel to it.

And Alexis and Austin even provided their own ceremonial half-down entertainment for their guests!

Who……………me?                                 Isn’t she just a doll?

They snuck off to take a few romantic photos.

First dance on the stage

Good food – delicious dessert – dancing – and a final wave at the end.

Mark this one up for a special special day!                                                                            ~ Margie
