Venue Pricing Information - General Information
High Point Farms offers you a country venue for your wedding and allows YOU to create the day with your own vision. High Point Farms is not only our family business but it is our heart and our home. We have worked diligently in creating this venue for you and your guests and in this regard; we expect our farm to be treated with respect and care. We want you to have a memorable experience here at High Point Farms!
Our packages include 200 wooden folding chairs, 20 round tables, 2 rectangular tables, 3 barnwood tables, a few vintage tables, our red vintage cast iron bathtub (great to fill it with ice and fill with drinks), and a haywagon. We have a stall filled with log rounds, lanterns, tin buckets, shepherds crooks, signage, etc. for your gentle use.
You decorate how you wish or hire your own decorator or hire HP Farms. You may want to hang a banner or add mason jars and shepherd's hooks down the ceremony aisle - we let you. You may want to move the hay wagon around front and decorate it up for group family shots - we let you. With some limitations in protecting our barn and facility - we give lots of flexibility on how you decorate the inside and outside for your event. This can be a lot of fun to a bride who has a creative mind or a pinterest list or a etsy fettish. Some brides will hire a decorator, hire HP Farms, or get a friend to do this, point is you can hire whomever you wish - we have no list of vendors that you have to choose from. We do offer a vendor suggestion page if you need help with finding one but we don't dictate who you can use.
You bring your own food or hire your own caterer. We have seen this done a dozen ways. Some families make this a family affair and bring a variety of food themselves - and then you focus on a grand presentation with vintage plates or accessories and it works. Some will hire out a caterer and do it buffet style. Some aim more for heavy appetizers and a dessert smorgasbord...and it works. Some are having fun with some of the unique food vendors like the frozen custard cart or the specialty hot dog vendor....and it works. Again, the point is - you aren't stuck with having mints and punch and nuts...you have options.
And...when I say decorate as you want but understand - that we have done a great deal of decorating for you. We have the barn strewn with lights and large billowy curtains hung several doors. We have thoughtfully decorated with antiques here and there - bathrooms ready with decor and such - quaint signs and primitive antiques in every little corner - photo ops everywhere. The options are there but few requirements...do a little or a lot...with our venue - we have done the backdrop already. This allows you to go elegant or nature-driven or shabby chic or a bit country....it allows you to reflect your style.
We allow weddings to be booked Friday's, Saturday's, and Sundays beginning at 2 p.m. We have options of extra time - extra services - extra accesssories - and more...but they are just that - options.
***To secure a date - you have to submit $500 (non-refundable) deposit and a signed contract. This deposit goes towards the basic event price. Send us the above form to get more specifics - price/times/what all is included/and more. We do have a calendar tab here on the website to check availability before you inquire.

There are four generations living on High Point Farms. This is a family affair and much work is done behind the scenes to help prepare and upkeep the property. This is not only a Wedding Farm but our homes. The mother-daughter duo (Margie and Jill) will tag-team with you to provide you with as much information, ideas, and solutions as possible. We are flexible with our tour times but we request that you do not come to the farm without an appointment. Margie's husband David will help trouble-shoot any electrical demand issues that might arise from your Sound Guy or Caterer. We have to cherish some level of privacy so not to be consumed by the business. We hope our personalized attention shows as we strive to respond quickly to your emails, provide you with updated pictures and information on our website, farm blog, and facebook pages as well as all the time and detail put into our property for your pleasure. Come share this unique place and make a memory for your special day.
BRIDES - BRIDES - BRIDES
Once you have booked a wedding here at High Point Farms, you may email me for a link to a page (titled "Once You Have Booked") which will take you to several special pages within my website that has more helpful information, floor plans for the barn, directions, farm rules, vendor suggestions, etc. There is a wealth of information that will be provided to you once you have booked. I have a vendor suggestion page which outlines a slew of vendors who have proven themselves worthy of my "Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval"....I have information about the barn layout, dimensions of tables and such, and a slew of pictures to help put all the pieces of the puzzle for you....giving you options and ideas. So....once you have booked - email me for a link to this information. Some information is worthy of keeping it set aside for our brides so as vendors need to be scooted off the list - I can do so without pressure. If I don't know the answer to a question you have - I want to be able to steer you in the right direction. So.....brides - my brides....email me at highpointfarms@gmail.com and ask for the special link titled "Once You Have Booked."

My review on the knot-thanks againFrom the beginning Jill and Margie were a pleasure to work with. I had an extremely hard time finding the venue I wanted. I didn’t want a stuffy traditional wedding. I wanted something fun, laid back, and with a bon fire! This barn was exactly the setting I wanted. One good thing about this place is the bride can make it what she wants. You aren’t forced to have a certain caterer or ceremony site, you can have it how you want it. What drew me at first were the beautiful pictures on their website. I was a bride on a budget so viewing the pictures I was thinking this place would be out of my price range, but it wasn’t! I would recommend the barn to everyone. Honestly, it is hard for me to write this review and tell you all the good things about this place because I was satisfied with everything, the people, the service, the atmosphere, the animals, everything. If you have any doubts watch the video on their website!

Thank you so much for helping to make my wedding dreams come true on Saturday!! It was the most perfect day and everyone kept talking about how beautiful of a venue it was. I would recommend you to any future brides. Sending all our love, thanks!! ♥ The Barn at High Point Farms is the perfect outdoor wedding venue! It's country charm and simple elegance provide the perfect spot for every girl's dream wedding and those beautiful pictures want to keep afterwards. We had our wedding there just 3 weeks ago and we cannot stop smiling. Every time we watch our video and look at our pictures we are reminded of our perfect day. We loved having our ceremony in the lovely open field and the reception so close in the beautiful barn. The family owners are wonderful people who seek to make your day as easy and memorable as possible. As a bride, I felt so at ease there. We loved everything - from the farmhouse, to the sweet animals in the fields, from the awe inspiring barn, to the cute country bathrooms. Everything at the Barn at High Point Farms is absolutely PICTURE PERFECT! posted online Phillips Weddings May 2013
Thank you so much for the wonderful time (despite the downpour) at our daughters wedding this past Saturday! The Barn at Highpoint was absolutely beautiful and welcoming for all our guests. Your attention to detail and the loving care your family has shown the barn is evident! :)

I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our reception at your beautiful farm! I think everyone had a wonderful time and were so complimentary of the location. Several said it was the best reception they had ever attended. You have a sweet family and were just great to us. I will certainly spread the word about your unique venue! Rachael Venema at Rae Ven Photography said,
"Thanks so much for allowing me to do a photo shoot on your property. It is a truly beautiful place!"
Rachael has come to the farm for several photo sessions - not a wedding yet but of children and families, etc. She is able to manipulate her camera somehow to capture shots that look almost like watercolor. We were fortunate to have her take a photo shoot of my grandchildren too. I will include a couple of them below soon. Kinds words from Meagan
"A rustic outdoor setting is what we always wanted for our wedding. As soon as we saw the venue, we knew it was "the place". The Barn is so inviting with the romantic lighting and southern cozy feel. Margie, Jill
(and David too!!!) were great to work with. They were very helpful and always there with answers!! Our wedding couldn't have been more perfect!!" |
Chris Stern posted on The Barn at High Point Farm's Wall.
"Thank you again so much for the privilege to celebrate our special day at your gorgeous farm! The barn was perfect and we are thrilled with how everything turned out!!"
Words from Gary and Carol Agate
Our daughter Jordan was married at the Barn at High Point Farms in June of 2011 and we could not have asked for a more beautiful setting for the wedding and reception. Margie and Jill were wonderful and took great care to help make it a perfect day! The backdrop of all the pictures are beautiful with the fields and mountains. The wedding was simple yet classy. We highly recommend that you call Margie or Jill and make an appointment to see for yourself what a great place this is to have your wedding!
