Vendor Suggestions:
Clients are always asking for referrals on the vendors. With 2011 being our first year plus the fact that we are so flexible with our vendor options - we saw an assortment of "do-it-yourself" weddings, "friends of the family" caterers or decorators, plus some vendors that we are happy to include below. If the name has a star - they are on a preferred list. If no star - it just means that we are providing the information with limited knowledge of them so they don't quite get our "Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval" just yet. Please let us know how you rank your vendors after the fact - this will help us keep this list current and our suggestions worthy.
Decorators: Margie at High Point Farms would be happy to discuss providing the decorating for you. Several progressing options can be discussed as we can do a little or a lot. We have decorated the barn already for you so to continue the theme with our collection of goodies is very doable. We work closely with the florist, Making Arrangements, so that your bouquets can be done by professionals and we can then order extra flowers to decorate your tables and 'down the aisle' decor. Nothing is cookie cutter here so to provide you a bid is a conversation of what you are wanting and to what extent you wish us to create your look. Whether it is old quilts, vintage hankies, blue mason jars, our old bottle collection, watering tins, tea pots, old boxes, old books, log rounds, funky lanterns, mixed vintage china, etc. etc. etc.......finding the right look is important to us - so you can have your day like you want it. Linens:
HP Farms has secured a local vendor who has agreed to rent linens for $12 each (floor length - white or ivory) which includes bringing the linens to the farm and returning to retrieve the soiled linens afterwards. (They also have burlap table runners at $5 each.) This linen option is actually on the Add On Page of your contract. If you do opt for this, please indicate what color, if you want the burlap runners or not, and what shapes....HP Farms has 20 round folding tables and 2 rectangular folding tables. Any extra linens for other tables, etc. would need to be consulted about.
