As you stroll around the farm, you will see several choices of where you can set up your ceremony; behind the barn with the pasture and hillside as your backdrop or under the grove with the encircled trees creating your borders or in the front hayfield with High Point as your tapestry-like foreground. We don't dictate to you that the ceremony has to be "HERE" and the chairs have to be set up "like every other wedding"........we allow flexibility so you can make it "your own!"
Behind the Barn on the Lawn
No doubt that behind the barn makes for a great location for the ceremony. Photo angles towards the couple will show a backdrop of the hillside and the pasture full of animals. Looking back towards the barn makes for a great entrance shot with the old barn wood, flowing shears, and big old tin doors.
The Grove
Adjacent to the barn is our grove - a circle of trees that display a beautiful canopy of greenery. This area still benefits from the pastoral views of the animals in the field but just creates a different ambiance - an intimacy to your wedding ceremony. The circle of trees feels very symbolic plus it allows for bits of decor to be hung from the limbs.

Even if you don't have your ceremony in the grove, it is a enchanting place to be after dark when the cafe lights are turned on....peaceful darkness rolls in as the farm begins to bed down.
The Front Hayfield
Out and beyond the farmhouse is an open hayfield. Overshadowing this ceremony spot is the highest point of Lookout Mountain - which names our community and our farm (High Point). The openness of this area is appealing to some and as autumn approaches - it looks more like a tapestry behind you with all of the colors strewn across the mountain side. No matter what height the surrounding field grasses are - it does give an interesting effect to be sitting "within" the field though we do keep the initial ceremony area cut short .
